The Spanish capital is one of the most interesting cities in Europe, with great museums (among them the famous Prado and Reina Sofia museums), good restaurants and lively nightlife. Madrid, the Spanish capital, is full of beautiful avenues, squares, monuments and it has important art museums. At night, life in the capital is very lively, with lots of people in the streets, pubs, and restaurants, some of which have flamenco shows aimed at tourists.
Must visit & Major attractions:
- Barrio La Latina: it is on the smaller streets that La Latina reveals its more historical side. It is a neighborhood to walk on, enjoying its medieval streets, its old buildings, its squares and, mainly, its terraces. La Latina radiates bohemia any day of the week and even more on Sundays, just after the Rastro - Madrid's oldest and most famous street market. In this neighborhood, you will also find the Plaza Mayor, whose history began in the 16th century and the famous Mercado de San Miguel.
- Barrio Lavapiés: the most multicultural neighborhood in Madrid. It continues to be everyone's neighborhood, where the protagonists are art and politics. Walk along its colorful streets and explore its cultural spaces. La Tabacalera is for those who enjoy urban art, it is a must-see program. And it is another place that has been reused interestingly. - Former tobacco factory today is a social and cultural center - with a space self-managed by the community.

Gastronomy

All this always accompanied by a great Spanish wine. Although it is possible to taste tapas in any pub or restaurant in Madrid and its region, in the downtown the best areas are La Latina, Chueca, and Salamanca neighborhood.
Once in Madrid, be sure to taste a typical "Madrid stew". Strong dish, with intense flavors, indicated for cold days, is a kind of stew with chickpeas, meat, vegetables, pulses, and sausages.
